The examining board were the staff members: Bruno Moulin de Andrade; Flavia Lúcia Conceição; Carlos Alberto Basílio de Oliveira; Vera Lucia Nunes Pannain; Adriana Marques Caroli de Freitas Bottino; José Carlos Oliveira de Morais; Patricia de Fátima dos Santos Teixeira and Mario Vaisman.

In accordance with the knowledge multidisciplinarity, the program is aimed at graduate students in different areas of health, namely: biologists, biomedical, dentists, physiotherapists, speech therapists and physicians, among other health professionals. Researchers from several areas of knowledge are part of the staff, which contributes to a growing number of enrolled students, especially in the doctorate, in order to favor the integration between experimental and clinical research. The area of concentration in pathology is the most suitable for this integration, with the main objectives being the pathogenesis, histopathological changes, diagnosis and treatment of diseases.
